ABAS operates it`s business 100% indirectly. We have a partner network around the world that handles the end user business. And network means NETWORK, not isolated dealers in different countries. Quite a few of our customers and vendors call us “the ABAS family”, because they can feel the “spirit of ABAS”. We are very keen on communication among our partners, they know eachother personally. Due to the fact that more and more SMEs are going international and need an international ERP solution, our partners from different countries have to work together cooperatively. And this is much easier if you know your co-worker personally. You can not email a handshake, you can not fax a smile.
And increasingly more of our SME customers are looking for SME ERP vendors and don’t want to cooperate with the first 10 on the ERP vendors list mentioned above. They want to do their projects with partners on the same level, with a personal touch. This makes the running of projects much smoother.
Our partners provide all services for the whole project, they install the software, sometimes also the hardware, implement the ERP solution, do the customization and training.
We are also keen on having profitable partners. That is why we are not mushrooming partners in every country, but are looking for partners that fit our profile. This means they have a similar size (the CEO still knows all of his staff), they are aware that ERP is a long term business and are not looking for a quick dollar, are honest, have a high standard of business ethics and the declared intention to have satisfied clients, and want to be successful in this competitive ERP market. In brief, they would love to join the ABAS family.
