The year 2007 was another very successful year for ABAS Software AG in Karlsruhe, Germany. Sales revenue, sales figures and equity figures grew significantly as compared to the previous year. Income from software licenses played an especially large role in this growth. Abroad, ABAS posted growth of 13% as compared to 2006.

Since 75 years the family-owned enterprise "GUTEX Holzfaserplattenwerk" from the Black Forest has been producing wood fibreboard insulations in their plant in Waldshut-Tiengen in the south of the Black Forest. The development of modern, technologically sophisticated and ecological fibreboard insulations and heat insulating composite material as well as the improvement of already existing product ranges are the focus of their activity. With the new innovative dry process GUTEX sets standards as far as production technology and product quality are concerned. GUTEX is the only manufacturer in the world who is able to produce single-layer wood fibreboard insulations with a thickness of up to 240 mm. The enterprise replaces an customized solution with abas ERP. The introduction and the support of the ERP project is carried out by ABAS Projektierung Freiburg.

40 users of the Turkish company Sistem Reklamcilik A.S. use abas ERP. The Turkish abas partner BEBIM Bilisim Teknolojileri Ltd.Sti will support them during and after the implementation of abas ERP. Sistem Reklam started out with the production of illuminated and non-illuminated billboards at the start of the 1970's. Now there are around 500 employees who work on design, production, assembly and maintenance. Amongst the customers are many sectors of industry, such as for example, the mineral oil industry, automotive and rubber industries, banks and shopping centers.
