ABAS Software in conjunction with software partners ABAS Projektierung Holding GmbH (Germany) and Arem Technologies Private Ltd. (India) announce the formation of ABAS Business Services. ABAS Business Services will be based out of Mumbai, India and will provide added support to all ABAS software partners in the implementation of abas Business Software worldwide.
The main services offered by ABAS Business Services will be focused in project implementation. The company will bring increased mobility to the ABAS Group by providing consultants geared to travel worldwide to any customer location and offer on-site supervision, programming and customization support.

The new Service Center application is among the highlights found in Version 2008 of abas Business Software. This application takes the service processing tool found in abas ERP and makes it available online through the eBusiness solution abas eB.
“Many of our midsize customers are from the mechanical and plant engineering industry," explains Peter Walser, CTO of ABAS Software, "An important part of our business concerns the service that accompanies the delivery of this machinery, as well as the initial operation, maintenance and repairs. We developed our service tool concept using the input from our partners and customers.”

ABAS Software announces its entry into Mexico through a partnership formed with Transformaempresas (“Transforming companies”) of Guadalajara, Mexico. Angel Pérez, Director of Transformaempresas, is looking forward to working with ABAS in localizing its abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness) for the Mexican market.

“I have been connected with the Mexican IT market for over 20 years and have realized that what companies here need is a software that is adaptable, user-friendly, innovative, but also cost-effective,” explains Pérez, “abas Business Software meets all those requirements.”

With Laboratorios Belloch S.A. the Spanish abas partner ABAS Business Solutions Ibérica has gained a new customer from the cosmetics industry. One of the provided products is the well-known brand Nelly, a complete product range for hair and skin care.

Already since January 2007 Markwins Classic Brand in Wiesbaden (Germany) has been using the solution abas Distribution. Now, Markwins in Milan also follows this decision. For over two decades the worldwide operating company has been designing and distributing uniquely packed cosmetics. The abas partner Ciemme Service s.r.l. will carry out the implementation and provide support to the 30 users in the future.

New customer of the abas Informationssysteme GmbH is the company VAF GmbH. VAF stands for the German words Verkettungsanlagen (linked systems), Automationseinrichtungen (automation equipment) and Fördertechnik (conveying technology). In the future, around 70 users will be working with the abas Business Software using Linux to optimize business processes.
