  Lägler completely migrates to Debian GNU/Linux  
  Linux is becoming more and more popular in the business world and in the public sector. Companies are under increasing pressure to cut back costs and Linux is the cost-effective alternative to Microsoft products. What the city of Munich is presently implementing has already been achieved at the long-established company Eugen Lägler GmbH & Co., located in the Swabian town of Güglingen. The entire company IT, including the ERP system they used, was changed over to Debian GNU/Linux.  
     
  Client under Linux: abas users do now have an alternative in the Front End range  
  What was up to now successfully utilized by abas Business Software users on the sever side is now also possible in the Front End range. ABAS users can now opt for a complete user environment running under Linux.  
     
  More than 80% of abas installations are based on Linux
