	“ABAS qualified on all counts”
	IST Metz GmbH in Nürtingen is one of the first customers of ABAS AG. Dr. Werner Dax, head of IT, is responsible for the IT environment and the ERP system at the manufacturer of UV systems. We spoke to Dr. Dax about his experience with abas Business Software and the cooperation with ABAS.

	Karlsruhe, November 17, 2005 - With the EDI function in abas ERP (EDI = Electronic Data Interchange), structured business documents (VDA, ODETTE, EDIFACT) can be automatically exchanged between the business application programs of a number of business partners. The use of EDI offers users the full control of the entire goods, data and money flow. abas ERP/Automotive supports businesses in managing the processes of a complex supply chain, and coordinates all stipulated logistical processes between the vendor and the manufacturer.

	IT distributor strengthens market position thanks to modern ERP system
	Karlsruhe, November 17, 2005 - With an extensive portfolio of network and telecommunication technology, established own brands, high readiness to deliver and extensive service, Digital Data Communications (DDC) has become a market leader. The company, located in Dortmund, relies on the ERP system of the Karlsruhe system provider ABAS AG and the know-how of the IT system vendor SteinhilberSchwehr to organize their trading operations.

	Success on Systems 2005: ABAS gains three new customers
	Karlsruhe, 07.11.2005 – SYSTEMS 2005 came to an end on October 28, 2005. ABAS and the abas partners looked back on five turbulent days. Many qualified contacts, as well as 3 contract conclusions with SERRA Maschinenbau GmbH, SVG Germany GmbH and Wackershauser Zerspannung made the trade fair appearance of the abas group a great success.

	Karlsruhe, September 9th, 2005 - Since July 2005, Leser GmbH, a specialist for sophisticated packaging solutions located in Lahr, has integrated the industry’s largest Webshop (www.leser.de). The online shop was put into practice by means of the eBusiness solution abas eB which provides highly flexible internet solutions for medium-sized businesses. The implementation and support of the ERP and eBusiness project at Leser is carried out by the abas partner SteinhilberSchwehr AG.

	ABAS at SYSTEMS 2005
	Karlsruhe, September 7th, 2005 - From October 24th –28th the IT fair SYSTEMS will take place in Munich. 	Stemmann-Technik GmbH relies on ABAS
	Karlsruhe, August 23rd , 2005 – As a new customer of the ABAS Systemhaus GmbH, Stemman-Technik GmbH changes from the old system Comet to the flexible business software abas ERP. The company, located in Schüttorf, employs 280 people.

	800 users at abas Customer Forum “Trends 2006” expects
	Karlsruhe, August 22, 2005 – Once again ABAS Software AG will be welcoming users to the annual Customer Forum in the Karlsruhe Kongresszentrum (conference center). Over 800 people from medium-sized companies from the production, trade and services sectors of industry are expected to turn up at the two day event on the 22nd and 23rd of September, 2005. The program includes lectures and workshops regarding abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness) innovations as well as useful contributions of abas sales and cooperation partners who will take up various IT topics.

	ABAS sees strong growth in the first 6 months of 2005
	Karlsruhe, August 10th, 2005 – From January to June 2005, ABAS Software AG, provider of ERP and eBusiness Software for medium-sized businesses, was able to gain a considerable increase in orders: 85 new customers opted for abas Business Software. Compared to the same period of the previous year, this is an increase of 42 %.

	Shareholders’ Meeting 2005 - ABAS Software AG
	Karlsruhe, July 26th 2005 - On July 15, 2005 the shareholders, the CEO and the Supervisory Board of ABAS Software AG met for the shareholders' meeting in the Renaissance Hotel, Karlsruhe. 	abas ERP wins Linux award
	Karlsruhe / Hong Kong, July 18th, 2005 – The “Hong Kong Productivity Council” and the “Hong Kong Linux Industry Association” have rewarded the abas user Campion International Development Ltd. and the abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness) with the “Hong Kong Linux Business Adoption Award 2005”.

	The tour comes on a flying visit to Karlsruhe
	Karlsruhe, 14th July, 2005 – the Tour de France once again came to Karlsruhe on the 8th July after having been here before in 1987. The participants of the 92nd Tour de France, with top favorites Lance Armstrong and Jan Ulrich, started on the seventh leg in Lunéville. The leg ended after 228.5km on the finishing streak in front of the Karlsruhe conference center in Forchheim.

	Karlsruhe, July 6th, 2005 – Major event coming to Karlsruhe: on Friday, July 8th, Karlsruhe will be the destination of the seventh stage, which starts in Lunéville and ends on the B 36 close to the Neue Messe in Forchheim.

	New order on Linuxtag: Lumera Laser GmbH
	Karlsruhe, June 27th, 2005 – Professional experience in all questions regarding laser technology has contributed to the expansion of the innovative company Lumera, located in the “Business and Innnovation Center” (BIC) in Kaiserslautern. On Linuxtag 2005, Lumera decided to use abas Business Software in the future.

	ABAS Software AG and SEP AG cooperate
	Karlsruhe, June 22nd, 2005 – SEP AG, specialized in network data security and data availability has integrated a standard interface to the abas database with the support of the ABAS Software AG, specialized in ERP solutions. Thus, the users can profit from a backup and recovery software, which can be used throughout the company. It is easy to use and can be implemented with all standard servers, operating systems, databases and memory hardware. For the abas application, the SEP sesam software on a 2 processor server is free of cost. Expansions will be liable to costs.

	New sales order: HALTEC opts for abas ERP
	Karlsruhe, June 14th, 2005 – HALTEC Hallensysteme GmbH, located in Hemer, is one of the leading providers of steel factory buildings, storage tents as well as party tents in Germany . HALTEC made a turnover of approximately 30 Mio. Euro in 2004 and employs 120 people in 13 locations. In the future abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness) will support the company in order to optimize business processes.

	Linux initiative in Hong Kong
	Karlsruhe, May 25th, 2005 – ABAS Business Solutions (PRC) Ltd., IBM China/Hong Kong Limited and Novell Hong Kong Limited have announced to launch a Linux initiative for promoting the rapid distribution of Linux applications. Local companies shall then be able to use abas ERP with IBM’s new eServer OpenPower 710 and Novell SUSE LINUX.

	ABAS establishes new subsidiary in China
	Karlsruhe, May 25th, 2005 – For over two years ABAS Business Solutions (PRC) has been the sales partner of the ERP and eBusiness provider ABAS Software AG, located in Karlsruhe, for China and Hong Kong . The software provider is now establishing another office in Shenzhen.

	25 years of ABAS
	Karlsruhe, March 3rd, 2005 - A quarter century of ABAS - this seems almost unreal for the founders and the longtime companions of the company. These years passed in no time. The company with 8 employees that was once a group of students has now become a group of companies. For the first time ABAS participates at the HANNOVER MESSE with its own stand. 	Karlsruhe, 15th February, 2005 – The Hubert GmbH has decided to use the abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness). The company, a new customer of the sales partner ABAS Projektierung Rhein-Main GmbH & Co. KG specializes in cutting procedures.

	New sales order: ETA Heiztechnik GmbH
	Karlsruhe, 2nd February, 2005 - In the future, 18 users at ETA Heiztechnik GmbH will be working with abas Business Software. ETA is a new customer of the Austrian abas partners Nittmann & Pekoll GesmbH. ETA develops and produces kilns for pellets, chopped goods and firewood.
