	New sales order: TWK-SENSORIK GmbH
	Karlsruhe, January 14th, 2005 - The TWK-SENSORIK GmbH has opted to use abas Business Software from now on. The company belongs to the electronics sector and has been developing and producing sensors for angle, length and path measurement in Hamburg, Germany, since 1967.

	Functions of abas Business Software have been continuously expanded
	Karlsruhe, December 27, 2004 – The abas Business Software (ERP, PPS, WWS, eBusiness) is being continuously expanded. Thanks to this evolutionary system approach, the user can always make use of state-of-the art technology and extensive function expansions. Our business specific adaptions also remain in the new version. Thus, the user is spared any time and cost intensive modifications. The current 2004 version of the abas Business Software offers a broad spectrum of novelties, e.g. in scheduling, production and materials management, group accounting and consolidation, as well as in cost accounting.

	Manifold innovations in Version 2004 of abas Business Software
	Karlsruhe, November 30, 2004 – Version 2004 of abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness) contains many innovations and enhancements. In scheduling, for example, there are now alternatives when setting deadlines and products can be assigned to scheduling groups. There are also substantial innovations in final costing, EDI as well as in accounting. Many things were optimized in the basic technologies. Furthermore, in Version 2004 the abas Web Applications were enhanced and now offer more service quality. Some highlights in focus:

	New Sales Order
	Karlsruhe, November 23, 2004 - The Maschinenfabrik Bermatingen is a new customer of the abas partner SteinhilberSchwehr AG. The company, which is located at Lake Constance, employs about 120 people in various business areas, export takes place worldwide.

	Lägler completely migrates to Debian GNU/Linux
	Güglingen-Frauenzimmern, November 10, 2004 - Linux is becoming more and more popular in the business world and in the public sector. Companies are under increasing pressure to cut back costs and Linux is the cost-effective alternative to Microsoft products. What the city of Munich is presently implementing has already been achieved at the long-established company Eugen Lägler GmbH & Co., located in the Swabian town of Güglingen. The entire company IT, including the ERP system they used, was changed over to Debian GNU/Linux.

	ABAS brings successful ERP product to Holland
	Karlsruhe, October 28, 2004 - ABAS Software AG, a competent provider of ERP solutions for small and mediums sized businesses, gains new sales partner in the Netherlands. vTA International will take over the implementation and support of abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness) in the Netherlands and Belgium.

	Karlsruhe, September 1, 2004 - The Hungarian branch of Laing introduces the abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness). Laing operates in the pump- and heating engineering sector.

	Useful linkage of different applications using Web Services
	Karlsruhe, August 30, 2004 - Web Services is the current buzzword being used by everyone and is gaining importance in many areas. A practical example from the warranty processing area displays how the abas Business Software using Web Service Technology can create a bridge between two available systems.

	New sales order: Anzer GmbH
	Karlsruhe, August 11, 2004 - Anzer GmbH, specializing in the manufacture of cable assemblies has made its decision for abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness). The deciding factor was the possibility to run the business standard software under Linux.

	Shareholders' Meeting 2004 - ABAS Software AG
	Karlsruhe, July 27, 2004 - On July 16, 2004 the shareholders, the CEO and the Supervisory Board of ABAS Software AG met for the shareholders' meeting in the Renaissance Hotel, Karlsruhe. Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Peter Walser, and Chairman of the Executive Board, Werner Strub, reported on the business trend of ABAS Software AG to the shareholders which were present.

	Karlsruhe, July 2, 2004 - The Proxitron GmbH has chosen to work with the abas Business Software, 10 users will work with the flexible ERP standard software in the future.

	New sales order: Holz Leeb GmbH, Austria
	Karlsruhe, June 7, 2004 - The Holz Leeb GmbH will be optimizing its business processes in the future using the abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness). The new customer of the Austrian abas partner Nitmann & Pekoll GesmbH manufactures wood and aluminium balconies and fences.

	Evolutionary system technology - Flexibility but retaining full upgradeability

	Web applications integrated in the ERP system: Manifold eBusiness solutions
	Karlsruhe, April 21, 2004 - In the ERP solutions abas ERP and abas Trade manifold web applications are now available. Through these, the user can access the abas Business Software via the Internet. ERP data, e.g. stock level, availability, sales order status, product data, technical drawings or turnover figures, can always be accessed online. The abas Business Software can be operated via a browser independent of the platform.

	New Order 04/2004
	Karlsruhe, April 14, 2004 - CoVI Technologies based in Austin, Texas chose abas Trade to help them manage their company's growth. Support for CoVi will be provided by ABAS USA.

	ABAS at the Hannover Trade Fair 2004
	Karlsruhe, April 2, 2004 - At the Hannover Trade Fair 2004 (19-24 April, 2004) the area industrial IT and software will be represented with a new trade fair, the "Digital Factory". In hall 16, stand C16, ABAS will present news concerning abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness) at the stand of the trade association Software (VDMA e.V.).

	Karlsruhe, March 1, 2004 - In hall 5, stand A 18, ABAS will, together with the sales partners present news concerning abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness). Besides multifaceted enhancements in all functional areas, the focus is on ergonomics, flexibility and upgrade capability. 	Karlsruhe, February 4, 2004 - The Günther Bachmann OHG has been using abas Business Software since December 2003. The company looks back on over 50 years experience in sleeping systems. The support for the ERP project will be the responsibility of the abas partner Koldt GmbH in Munich.
