	ABAS hosts specialist forums for globally operating companies

	Karlsruhe, 29.01.2007 – “Operate global, we support you locally!” This slogan is the program for the abas Group. ABAS is holding international specialist forums in 8 countries from March to May, 2007. The order of events is the same globally. The user, who will talk about his experience in respect to the selection, the implementation and the use of the ERP software country-spanning, is the focal point of each forum. Information about the abas Group and a presentation of the abas Business Software with the focus on international aspects rounds off the forum program.

	Users report on practical experiences

	Increasing pressure from competition coming from low wage countries is making German medium-sized companies think more and more internationally. These days companies open new production factories in Eastern Europe or in Asia and also increase the efficiency and quality in their existing production factories to keep up with competition. The participants of the specialist forums being held in 8 countries will learn how medium-sized companies go about their search for an international ERP software, which experiences they make in respect to a country-spanning project management for ERP software introduction, how on site and country-spanning processes are organized with the aid of the abas Business Software and what use one has of this software.

	Software for the medium-sized Global Player

	Companies which are currently or in the near future planning an international ERP project will gain a great deal of useful information from the forums. Globalization brings great opportunities. In his presentation, Werner Strub, CEO of the ABAS Software AG, presents how medium-sized companies can make use of these opportunities. Often it is the „small factors“ such as trust, personal contact, understanding, cooperative working as partners on site and simple, pragmatic solutions which guarantee the successful running of an international ERP project. Wolfgang Klemm, CEO of the abas Software Partners, ABAS Projektierung, and Marko Becker, CEO of the abas Software Partners, ABAS USA, using concrete projects report how the abas Group realizes these demands.
