Solid company development of the ABAS Software AG  
     
 

Karlsruhe, July 27, 2007 - On July 20, 2007 the chairman of the supervisory board, Thomas Frank, and the CEO, Werner Strub, reported about the business development of the ABAS Software AG at the annual shareholders' meeting.

 
     
  Growth in sales revenue, sales figures and profit  
     
 

The year 2006 which was characterized by a reflation, also was one of the most successful ones in the company history of the ABAS Software AG from Karlsruhe. The sales revenue, sales figures and the profit were increased considerably compared to the previous year. The largest part of the growth is due to the business gained through new customer licenses. In 2006, ABAS was able to register an overseas revenue growth of 45 percent compared to 2005.
As in the past thirteen years ABAS was again able to remain in the black in 2006. The overall performance of the Karlsruhe software provider rose by 9.3% to TEUR 9,195 in 2006. The operating profit was increased by 17% to TEUR 879. The equity capital was increased by 21% and is now TEUR 3,711. The equity capital amounts to a lofty 73% of the balance sheet total. On the basis of excellent liquidity, ABAS is financially independent and finances itself using its own resources. Confidence in the CEO and the Supervisory Board was unanimously confirmed in the shareholders' meeting for 2006. The annual shareholders' meeting approved a distribution of company profits as follows: 16% for the common shares and 20% for the preferred shares.
