	ABAS: "We approach customers"

	Karlsruhe, May 03, 2006 - For the second time the ERP and eBusiness provider ABAS from Karlsruhe had, together with its sales partners, its own trade fair stand at the Hannover Trade Fair. Within the framework of the Digital Factory, the provider of IT solutions for medium-sized businesses presented news concerning abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness) in Hall 16, Stand C21.

	The Hannover Trade Fair is still one of the most important showcases of the industry worldwide. 5175 exhibiting companies from 66 countries participated in the trade fair. The German industry appeared a lot stronger than before: for 2006 the companies are anticipating an economic growth. Their expectations are based on three factors: export, the hope for an increasing domestic business activity and the big coalition's ability to carry out reforms. Thus, the mood at the Hannover Trade Fair was consistently positive, exhibitors and visitors were able to socialize and establish new business contacts.

	ERP and eBusiness for medium-sized production and trade companies

	At the abas stand visitors were provided with information about the abas Business Software. Moreover, the trade fair offered excellent opportunities to directly approach customers and prospective customers. Werner Strub, CEO of ABAS Software AG, sums up the trade fair participation: "For ABAS, the Hannover Trade Fair is an ideal platform to make contacts and to keep up already existing ones. Here we have the possiblity to directly approach customers and prospective customers, many abas users are represented with their own trade fair stands. Thus, not only the trade fair visitors are provided with information about ERP and eBusiness, but also the exhibitors from the production industry have decision makers on site which proved to be very interested in talks and the abas Business Software. The positive prevailing mood was remarkable, many visitors have definite intentions to invest."
