Success on Systems 2005: ABAS gains three new customers  
     
  ABAS at SYSTEMS trade fair 2005Karlsruhe, 07.11.2005 – SYSTEMS 2005 came to an end on October 28, 2005. ABAS and the abas partners looked back on five turbulent days. Many qualified contacts, as well as 3 contract conclusions with SERRA Maschinenbau GmbH, SVG Germany GmbH and Wackershauser Zerspannung made the trade fair appearance of the abas group a great success.  
     
  SERRA Maschinenbau GmbH opts for abas ERP  
     
  More and more woodland owners and craftsmen learn to appreciate the advantages of SERRA: the saws are mounted on four wheels and are able to reach every location in which the wood is to be processed. Every mobile sawmill is individually constructed with the most modern 3D CAD programs. Thus, short delivery times and a constant high quality can be ensured. To maintain this high quality and to even further increase it, SERRA Maschinenbau GmbH has opted for abas Business Software. On the ABAS Software AG stand at SYSTEMS, SERRA manager Johann Fritz and Heinz Koldt, manager of the abas Software Partner Koldt GmbH, concluded the cooperation. The reasons to opt for the abas Business Software according to manager Johann Fritz are: ”As a medium-sized company we have to flexibly adapt to the constantly changing requirements of our customers. We need a software that is able to support these. By choosing the abas Business Software we have opted for a flexible and easily adjustable ERP complete solution which is able to meet our demands in the long run. With the abas Software Partner Koldt GmbH we had a good feeling right from the start.”  
     
  New abas customer Wackershauser Zerspannung  
     
  New abas customer Wackershauser ZerspannungAlso on Systems 2005, Werner Wackershauser, CEO of Wackershauser Zerspannung, and Dieter Götz, sales manager of ABAS Projektierung GmbH, concluded their future cooperation regarding abas Business Software with a glass of sparkling wine. In 3 locations and with about 100 employees the company Wackershauser Zerspannung produces among other things CNC turned parts, coatings and body sheets for the automotive industry. “At present we are still managing a lot of data in Excel tables,” says Werner Wackershauser. He continues: “The maintenance is error-prone and time-consuming. The ergonomics of the system, as well as the flexibility of the software which will support us when expanding and the numerous research and evaluation tools contained in the software tipped the scales in favor of abas Business Software. We will therefore be able to carry out most of the company-specific adjustments ourselves. The ERP Analyzer will, for example, provide customized information - individual transparency, as well as workstation specific statistics can be set up easily. We will also be able to smooth and decentralize our business processes using abas ERP. We want to turn affected employees into involved employees by implementing the abas Business Software in all company departments. In ABAS we have found the partner with whom we want to organize the future”.  
     
  Sports medicine retailer SVG decides on abas Business Software  
     
  SVG Germany GmbH in Ötisheim, a trading house for sport medicine products, therapy and electrotherapy accessories, will be using abas Business Software from January 1, 2006. The abas Software Partner SteinhilberSchwehr AG and SVS Germany GmbH concluded the cooperation on Systems 2005. SVG represents fitness, physiotherapy and prevention. “The systems we used so far were very rigid and it was difficult to carry out adjustments,” states Thomas Common, SVG manager, about the reasons for abas Business Software. He continues: “This is different with abas Business Software. The flexibility of the software impressed us very much. Due to the evolutionary system technology we are able to take part in the technological progress with every new release while maintaining full upgradeability of the system. In the future we will sell and distribute our products using the integrated abas eB Webshop. The excellent price/performance ratio and the competent support by the abas experts from SteinhilberSchwehr contributed to the success and we are looking forward to the future cooperation.
