	New sales order: Laing Kft.
	Hungarian branch introduces abas Business Software

	Karlsruhe, September 1, 2004 - The Hungarian branch of Laing introduces the abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness). Laing operates in the pump- and heating engineering sector.

	Since the beginning of the 1950s Laing has been researching, developing and manufacturing products for pump- and heating engineering. In the meantime Laing has gained over 1000 patents. The once Swabian research and development institute has become an international company with branches in Germany, the US, Japan and Hungary and today employs over 400 people worldwide. The production program concentrates on pumps, system connections for floor heating, electric heating, controllers and special OEM-products.

	abas Business Software at Laing

	The first step will be to implement the abas Business Software at the Hungarian branch to optimize business processes. On the server-side the ERP system will work with the open source operating system Linux. The other Laing branches are to be connected in the future. The ERP project is supported by the Hungarian abas Partner InterJNet Kft.
